In The Spotlight....

Good Morning…it's Sue here.. hope you are all doing ok today…
Thanks to everyone who entered last week's challenge…. we had lots of gorgeous entries ... don't forget to scroll down to see Our Winner and Top 3.

So this week I have chosen something a little different and a theme of using

Spotlight Technique

Please don't be put off… it's very simple and you don't necesarily have to leave black and white areas! just as long as you highlight a part of your image or sentiment.

If you don't know the technique... here is a little demo...

1. Stamp or Print out the same image twice ... if using digital images then make sure they are both the same size

2. Cut or Punch out a Circle of one of the images

3. Now you can either leave the circle black and white and colour the other image... or do the reverse... colour the spotlight and leave the other image black and white.

4. If you mount the spotlight on 3D pads it really makes it stand out.. love the effect on these tags...

In the card below I thought I would try colouring both the image and the spotlight circle...

The spotlight doesn't have to be a circle... you could use any shape that you like... the main thing is to have fun...

We are sponsored this week by The Crafty Pad

who are offering the winner
5 digital Images of the Winners Choice or 3 Digi Images and 1 Paper pack.

and so over to the DT for more inspiration ….
